Inaugural Latino conference to be held in San Bernardino
The first-ever Latino Education and Advocacy Day summit "A Day of Courageous Conversations" will be held Monday, March 29 at Cal State San Bernardino.

Cal State San Bernardino will host its first Latino Education and Advocacy Day Conference for educators on Monday, March 29, 2010. "A Day of Courageous Conversations" will feature speakers Juan Sepulveda, Director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, Dolores Huerta, President of the Dolores Huerta Foundation and Co-Founder of United Farm Workers, and Sylvia Mendez, civil rights activist and plaintiff in historic precursor to Brown v. INAUGURAL LATINO EDUCATION CONFERENCE AT CSUSB IN MARCH
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Community educators, administrators and leaders in education will convene for the inaugural Latino Education and Advocacy Day summit at Cal State San Bernardino on Monday, March 29.
“A Day of Courageous Conversations” will be hosted by CSUSB’s College of Education at the campus’s Santos Manuel Student Union from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The summit is free to participants.
