Latino Education and Advocacy Days (LEAD): Monday March 28, 2011 College of Education

LEAD Programs

The competitive strength of our region, state and country in a global economy depends, and will continue to depend to a large extent, on the positive educational outcomes of Latino students at all levels.

The objectives of LEAD are strengthened and emphasized by an array of programmatic activities with the intention of achieving a dramatic and powerful change in the future demographics of Latinos.

These various LEAD programs provide a portfolio of undertakings directed toward Latino education and advocacy at all levels. They are designed to motivate and support, expand access to education, and build avenues for success.

We provide educational services and opportunities, and initiate/facilitate projects designed to meet our stated purposes. These programs include prospects for academic and related or ancillary activities, as well as nonacademic extracurricular endeavors.
